This altdq and altdqs megafunction user guide (PDF) provides a design example to implement double data rate (DDR) I/O interface using altdq and altdqs megafunctions. This example uses the MegaWizard® Plug-In Manager in the Quartus® II software. The steps to generate the megafunctions using the MegaWizard are described in detail in the user guide.
Example
This design example illustrates how to:
- Create DDR I/O interface using the altdq and altdqs megafunction and the MegaWizard Plug-in Manager
- Implement the design and assign EP2C5T144C6 device to the project
- Compile and simulate the design
Figure1 illustrates the DDR I/O interface created using altdq and altdqs blocks.
