Overview
IRIS Technologies offers high-performance ASIC, system on a chip (SoC), and system prototyping solutions. The IRIS solution consists of a set of interconnected, high-capacity FPGAs, memories (such as SRAM, DRAM, and flash), and high-speed mezzanine card (HSMC) connectivity to leverage Altera's third-party daughtercards and integrated development environment (IDE) software as a central console for configuration, debug, program, test, and monitor. Target designs can run up to 150 MHz. The system can be used as a rack-mount prototyping appliance, a standalone bench-top system, or in any host that has a PCI Express® x8 slot via a PCI Express extender.
