Overview
Success in consumer electronics depends on the rapid introduction of innovative, feature-rich, competitively differentiated products. Off-the-shelf chipsets (ASSPs) are an excellent choice for achieving high feature integration. Programmable logic can then be used to provide a fast, low-risk, inexpensive path to the customization necessary for market success.
During the Net Seminar, you’ll learn:
- Why using programmable logic makes business sense in high volume, consumer electronic products
- What functions of programmable logic are being used in consumer electronics products
- Why programmable logic is a better choice than creating an ASIC
- What advantages Altera's MAX II CPLDs provide for consumer electronic product designers
- How MAX II CPLDs function in low-power applications
Who Should View
- Designers using programmable logic, microcontrollers, small ASIC/ASSP and discrete logic devices
- Consumer electronic product system architects
- Engineering and technical managers
- Consumer electronic product designers
